Jennifer Brown, President

Juice & Dirt is my dream, created from almost three decades of industry experience. My wine career started shortly after graduating from Bentley College in 1990. With my new business degree, I wanted to do something that would afford me the opportunity to travel the world and have fun while doing it. I landed my first job at Fine Wine Cellars, Boston as a clerk in 1993 before becoming the wine buyer in 1994, and I knew I had found my passion.

My experience spans all tiers of the wine industry, from retail to distributor to supplier, including work with my mentors Kermit Lynch & Martine Saunier, as well as Southern Wines & Spirits, and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board as their French Wine Buyer for 100+ stores.

People often ask, “What does Juice & Dirt mean?” I came up with the name while living in Napa Valley as a potential name for a blog or gossip column about the goings on around town. While that never came to fruition, I find it’s ideal for the state of our industry today.
